  1. Kids Talk, Munch N' Move Session 2 - Cooking Together

    18 February, 9:30 AM - 10:15 AM @ Independent Living Facility Collinsville

    This is a free session for children aged 0-5 years and their families. Members of the QCWA will lead activities to involve your child in food choices, discussions about food and meal preparation. This not only helps to develop their language skills, but also increases the liklihood that they will eat it! Bookings are essential as numbers are limited.   2. F5F Baby Bounce - Cannonvale Library

    18 February, 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM @ Cannonvale Library

    A First 5 Forever session encouraging language development for babies aged 0 – walking. Approx. 20 minutes of fun nursery rhymes, action songs, stories and play, followed by play time and social interaction for parents/carers and babies. No bookings required.

    Queensland Ready Reading invites parents and community members to volunteer in schools to support children’s reading and make a difference in their local community. The Department of Education, in partnership with Volunteering Queensland, provides training for volunteers to learn how to support a child with reading and strategies to develop independent reading skills.
