Whitsunday Regional Council Mayor Jennifer Whitney said the community has the opportunity inthe next couple of weeks to take advantage of free ABC Open workshops being held at the Beach and Proserpine Libraries.
Mayor Whitney said ABC Open producer, Dan Battley, will host workshops at the Proserpine and Beach Libraries to assist people with interviewing and video skills, including how to set up your camera, frame your subject, ask questions and edit your video.
“This is a great chance for people who want to participate in ABC Open’s Life’s Big QuestionsVideo Challenge Project to gain the essential video and interviewing skills needed to compile avideo,” she said.
“The project is also an excellent opportunity for budding film producers or journalists to share their videos with ABC audiences across Australia.
