As part of Council’s commitment to providing transport infrastructure for the region, Councils Works Department will be reconstructing Argyle Park Road from Harrison Court to Emmerson Drive commencing on 31st August 2015.
The works will include the upgrade of the existing drainage structure and associated road reconstruction. It is anticipated that these works will extend up to the 2nd December 2015, subject to weather conditions.
Argyle Park Road will have a full road closure enforced between Harrison Court and Emerson Drive during this time. Residents are advised to find an alternative route, taking note of the suggested major and minor redirection routes as proposed on the attached drawing. Public transport will also be redirected during this period and users of this service are asked to be aware of the redirection and any associated timetable changes.
Updates to the public transport service can be found on the qconnect website: www.qld.gov.au/transport/public/transport/timetables/qconnect or alternatively, updated timetables will be located at the bus stops.
Please note - pedestrian access will be available throughout the duration of the upgrade.
Council apologizes for any inconvenience caused, and seeks your co-operation during this important upgrade.
If you have any queries regarding this work please contact Council’s Roads Engineer on 47613618.
