“The Fullshare International (Australia) Pty Ltd submission planned to be located 26 kilometressouth of Proserpine is located in the Mackay Regional Council area, however the developmentwould still benefit the Whitsunday region as it plans to utilise our Whitsunday Coast Airport ifsuccessful.
“In addition to their Integrated Resort Development proposal, Council has also discussed withFullshare their current investment in the Whisper Bay property overlooking Cannonvale Beach.
“It is very exciting to have two submissions within our region and if either one of them were to beapproved by the Queensland Government it would be a huge boost to tourism, jobs and theeconomy for the Whitsunday region.

“The Whitsunday region is currently experiencing a high level of interest from investors both locally and internationally and the Whitsunday Regional Council is doing everything possible to continue to generate this interest in our beautiful region.
“All of the developments are welcomed within the region and the competitive process put in place by the Queensland Government around the Integrated Resort Development applications will provide the very best results for the regions and ultimately Queensland,” she said.
